NO MAN LEFT BEHIND (In preproduction)
Our young men and
women are sent to foreign countries to kill and be killed. We extol
their bravery and their sacrifice. We mourn their loss. But as the
newest generation of combat veterans return home, damaged in mind
and body, what is the United States government doing to assist those
who deserve “nothing but the best”?
No Man Left Behind looks at the plight
of these veterans whose attempts to seek treatment for combat-related
disabilities (such as post traumatic stress disorder) are often
met with delay and denial by a Department of Veterans Affairs which
is unable or unwilling to treat these “walking wounded”.
